Sonakshi Sinha recalls the 'unforgettable' day of shooting Tilasmi Bahein in one take: SLB reacts!
Upon its release on 1st May 2024, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar has oozed and whacked the Indian period drama fanatics, especially the ones who long for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's breathtaking grandeur finesse. The whopping drama series has roped off some of the most ethereal characters portrayed by the Indian actresses, and been able to impress audiences like absolutely none. The huge ensemble of female star cast included actresses from the starry front of Indian cinema like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjida Sheikh, Richa Chadha, and cinema's debutant, Sharmin Segal.
But do you know, that during one of the show's musical sequences, actress Sonakshi Sinha shot for a music video in one take? Yes, Miss Sinha and SLB made the making of the music video possible in one single take, according to a revelation made by the actress herself. Well, Sonakshi has given an impeccable performance in the one-take song Tilasmi Bahein and left everybody in absolute awe. Now almost three weeks after it's release, Sonakshi Sinha shared some oozing BTS shots of filming the musical video and recalled the marvelous times spent at the SLB's set.
The riveting actress who played the role of the primary antagonist Fareedan has indeed had the most unconventional song from the series, Tilasmi Bahein, which she has shot in one single take. On Wednesday, 22nd May 2024, she took over her official Instagram handle to share a series of photos of her and the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, all blowing happiness and warmth during the process of its making. Sharing the carousal post on her Gram, she wrote, "Cant get over that day!!! From on the spot rehearsal just minutes before the take to getting the perfect take for my first ONE SHOT song - Tilasmi bahein… swipe right to see Sanjay sirs reaction, and what we did right after packup coz we couldnt believe the song was done but we dint get enough… uff pure magic." Moving on further with the recalling days of Tilasmi Bahein, she expressed her hearty gratitude for everyone who was involved in making it happen.
Led by all women, the Netflix television series is set in pre-independent India and revolves around the life of the courtesans when they were treated as equals as queens. Starring Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Sehgal, it is an intense historical drama that takes the audiences around the themes of 'love, power and freedom'.
