Confirmed! Farhan Akhtar to make Hollywood debut with Marvel Studio Series 'Ms Marvel'

Farhan Akhtar in Marvel Studio Series: Bollywood actor-director Farhan Akhtar joins the cast of Disney Plus' new series 'Ms. Marvel'. The role played by Farhan Akhtar in the series is yet to be announced, while his involvement has been described as a guest-starring role.

Marvel is known for producing larger-than-life pictures, and in the last year, the company has begun producing series to bridge the gap between previous and prospective movies. The studio is poised to release Ms. Marvel in June this year, following a string of blockbuster series.

Newbie Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel, a Muslim American kid growing up in Jersey City, in "Ms Marvel," which is part of the blockbuster Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

"Kamala is a passionate fan-fiction writer with an enormous vision, especially when it comes to Captain Marvel," says the author (played by Brie Larson in the MCU).

Despite this, Kamala feels she doesn't belong at school or even at home unless she gains superpowers like her idols, according to the official narrative.

Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha are among the other cast members.

Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy are the directors of the Ms. Marvel episodes.

Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar is currently working on the film Jee Le Zaraa, which stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif.
