Supermodel Gigi Hadid gets arrested for possession of Marijuana at Cayman islands; Details inside

The global stardom, Gigi Hadid took off the morning headlines as she was caught red handed while carrying Ganja or Marijuana during the luggage scanning at the airport. Reportedly, the supermodel was travelling for a vacation in the Cayman Islands with her friend Leah Nicole McCarthy. She was caught during the time of luggage scanning by the airport officers, reported by the Cayman Marl Road.

The sources told it was not just Marijuana which has been possessed under her luggage but also the utensils which are used during the consumption of the drug. Both the vacay companions, Gigi and Leah, 28 and 29 years respectively were later arrested in the suspicion of importing Ganja as well the materials which are required and used during the whole process. Both of them were sent to the Prisoner Detention Centre but soon released on bail. However, since both the women were found guilty while presenting in the court,they were fined with $ 1000 and hence no conviction was recorded.

Meanwhile, it was not something that the supermodel was doing illegally, confirmed by a spokesman. " Gigi was travelling with Marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license. It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman ever-since 2017." Adding to which he quoted, "her record remains clear and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island."

There were hot reports coming off from the Hollywood dailies that the supermodel might be dating the Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio. The rotating rumors were made sure into a serious blooming bond after Leo had broken up with his muse model aka actor Camila Morrone after being into a four year old relationship. In-fact both the stars were captured on many occasions recently. According to a revealed source, Gigi and Leo wants to keep things slow and casual as they both feels the relationship holds a great potential.
