Khalsa Aid will provide oxygen Concentrators to Covid-19 patients in Delhi for free of cost!

Khalsa Aid India will provide oxygen concentrators for free to Covid-19 patients in Delhi. On Friday evening, the NGO also launched a helpline number with this regard.

“In order to bridge the huge gap between the demand and supply of oxygen, we are playing a diminutive part in this regard. Although the efforts are small but it was the need of the hour. We were receiving requests for oxygen so we have managed to provide oxygen concentrators for the ones who are in need of it” said Amarpreet Singh, director of Khalsa Aid Project. About the same Khalsa Aid India shared a tweet which read as, In this unprecedented state of medical emergency, we has fortunately managed to arrange limited Oxygen concentrator for COVID-19 patients. This project will be initiated from Delhi as it is the worst affected city. Together, we will fight this situation.”

Amarpreet Singh added, that “they will be providing 65 oxygen concentrators in the first segment and will procure more in the coming weeks. In order to avail the service, people have to fill a registration form and priority would be given to those patients with ‘Low oxygen saturation levels’. A doctor’s prescription and a picture of oximeter readings will be required beside the other formalities.” ALSO READ:

The volunteers will be distributing the oxygen concentrators in all the parts of Delhi and we are trying to procure more machines” said Puneet Singh, a trustee of Khalsa Aid India. Khalsa Aid is known for their humanitarian work around the globe. Since November 2020, Khalsa Aid has been working round the clock to provide with essential commodities to the farmer’s protesting in Singhu and Tikri Border.
