The Summers are swinging with the fullest speed and the 2024 heat is surely unbearable, especially in the North. During this period, people are concerned about escaping the chaotic city lives and moving to more serene, silent places with moderate temperatures. With a plethora of geographical diversity, the country is full of places that vary during summers, which are truly breathtaking to witness India's magnificent season. From green marshlands covered in fog to untouched places of sheer serenity, you name and you get it! Keeping the same thing in mind, here I have bought you the 5 most unique offbeat travel destinations of the country to travel to during the scorching summer of 2024.

Theog

Theog of Himachal Pradesh is located just a two-hour drive from the hill's queen Shimla. Covered in green forests, June-July transcends Himachal's breathtaking beauty in a true awe-worthy way. Filled with apple firms, unlimited hikes, and the surreal peace of the mountains, Theog is a less-traveled beauty of the Northern part of the country.

Wayanad

Wayanad is a beautiful place located in Kerala. Covered in the majestic blanket of tea gardens, the place is covered with numerous treks and trails to toy around. In the north, it consists of Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary which is a lush green home to various flora and fauna. The animals found in the forest include Asiatic elephants, tigers, leopards, and egrets. Ambukuthi Hills to the south, on the other hand, is a surreal place to experience Edakkal Caves that hails its marks dating back to the Neolithic age.

Pedong

Pedong, located in West Bengal of the East, provides a traveler with the most lowkey surreal experience of a place. It is a beautiful village situated a little beyond Kalimpong. The cool temperature of the place, its green landscapes, and its nature will delve into its sheer magic.

Bhor

Bhor is a simple small town and a municipal council in the Pune district of West India's Maharashtra. Situated in the Sahyadri range of the state, Bhor is actually an unexplored and unheard place in the country. For the people of Pune and busy Mumbai, this tiny village is a great escape from the city honks and also a great destination for all the water enthusiasts and sunset lovers.

Cheerapunji

North-East is undoubtedly the most underrated place in India but one of the worthiest places to experience nature's true beauty has to be Cherrapunji. Located in Meghalaya, it is also known as the wettest place on Earth, and is filled with lush green mountains, forest, and waterfalls, making it an ideal summer destination of the East.
