With the trend of Punjabi songs, Bollywood industry has starting recreating the old hit Punjabi songs. The evolution of the Punjabi party songs in Hindi films started some years ago; however, now we are grooving to the recreated versions of hit Punjabi songs without realizing that they were already a hit among Punjabi music lovers.

Some of the latest recreated songs are:

Morni

‘Morni Banke’ from Ayushmann Khuranna’s ‘Badhai Ho’ is a reprised version of Panjabi MC’s hit 2010 song ‘Morni’. The reprised version is sung by Guru Randhawa and Neha Kakkar. While Panjabi MC’s version was a superhit, it won the Punjabi music award for best sound recording.

Laung Laachi

The makers of Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Luka Chuppi’ recreated one of the popular tracks of Punjabi music industry ‘Laung Laachi’. The recreated version is titled ‘Tu Laung Mai Elaachi’, sung by Tulsi Kumar.

Meanwhile, the original track was sung by Mannat Noor featuring Punjabi stars Neeru Bajwa and Ammy Virk in the song. The singer also won best playback singer award at PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2019 for this song.

Khaab

The ‘Khaab’ fame singer Akhil recreated his best song for Bollywood movie ‘Luka Chuppi’. Titled ‘Duniya’ is the reprised version of Akhil’s ‘Khaab’. The original track has been a global hit and helped the singer reach success.

Mukhda Dekh Ke

Latest Punjabi track by Mika Singh ‘Mukhda Vekh Ke’ is a rehashed version of legendary singer Surjit Bindrakhia ‘Mukhda Dekh Ke’. The peppy number has won hearts of Punjabi music lovers, while the older version was one of the best creations of Surjit.

Yeah Baby

The makers of upcoming Hindi movie ‘De De Pyaar De’ have recreated Garry Sandhu’s dancing number ‘Yeah Baby’. The recreated version is also by Garry along with Neha Kakkar, and is titled ‘Hauli Hauli’.
