'Scoop' trailer out: Hansal Mehta's upcoming series promises mind-bending ride for everyone

The official trailer of one of the most anticipated Indian thriller 'Scoop' is out. The OTT makers have released the thrilling trailer on Monday, May 15, 2023. Created by Hansal Mehta, it will be his first ever web series that is set to release on the first week of June, 2023. 

About 'Scoop'

The teaser of the Netflix series came in public seven months ago and had able to stew nerve riding curiosity among the masses since then. Directed by Hansal Mehta, 'Scoop' is said to be based on Jigna Vora's book, 'Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison'. The show embodies around some ambitious ciminal journalists, specially Jagruti Pathak, role played by Karishma Tanna. The series then follows her traumatic life after she is pushed in prison under false accusation of murdering one of her fellow journalist, Jaideb. Her life at the jail and aftermath situation is what has kept in the storyline. 

Casts & Crew

Created by Hansal Mehta and Mrunmayee Lagoo Waikul, the show is directed under Hansal Mehta himself and produced by Sanjay Routray and Sarita Patil. The show includes humongous faces of casts ensemble that includes Karishma Tanna-Lead, Deven Bhojani, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub, Shikha Talsania, Tanmay Dhanania, Tejasvini Kolhapure, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Inayat Sood including many others on the list who will be seen playing some crucial roles in the series. 

'Scoop' Release date

The dark yet suspense thrilling 'Scoop' looks to be a total serve of a palette with perfect amnount of drama, killing, suspense, thriller and some mind boggling plot twists. The series is slatted to to premiere on June 2, 2023 only on streaming platform Netflix.
