The crowd was treated to a lively performance by Gippy Grewal. His energetic performance got everyone moving, especially when he played the Bollywood hit "Naach Punjaban."  Gippy Grewal's charisma on stage left the audience in splits, and in a shared video clip, we could see both Preity Zinta and Shikhar Dhawan joining in the fun along with other team members.

A short video clip of their dance performance was shared by Punjab Kings on social media, accompanied by an enthusiastic caption: "???????????????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ????????!"

In a statement, Preity Zinta expressed her excitement about the new jersey launch, stating, "We are delighted to launch our new jersey in front of our loyal fans, who are the backbone of the team. The new colours reflect the emotions and pulse of Punjab and everything it stands for. The team will represent the fans on the field and make some unforgettable memories in the new stadium."

The release about the jersey design mentioned that the kesari patterns at the bottom of the jersey symbolize fire, a significant element deeply rooted in  Punjabi traditions, signifying new beginnings. Additionally, the Indian tri-colour on the shoulder blades pays tribute to the nation and the armed forces.

The nihal blue arrows on the sides represent upward movement and the spirit of the warriors of Punjab. Lastly, the honeycomb pattern on the lower end of the jersey is dedicated to the fans and teamwork, inspired by the unity of honeybees working together towards a common goal.
