Ravinder Kaur Phagura: First Punjabi Woman To Join Royal New Zealand Air Force

Ravinder Kaur Phagura has brought honour to the Punjabi community by being the first Punjabi woman to join New Zealand Air Force in January 2019. She has become a part of the Royal New Zealand Air Force at the age of 22.

According to the reports, Ravinder is the daughter of Gurpal Singh and Manveer Kaur who hail from Hoshiarpur and is settled in Wellington, New Zealand. She was also a cadet in New Zealand Air Force from the age of 13 to 18.

She underwent training in April 2018 to enter the Air Force. Ravinder completed her graduation in December 2018 and created history by becoming the first woman from Punjab to enter New Zealand Air Force.
