Sikh Center Of New York Selflessly Serving Americans With Food During COVID-19

Sikh Center of New York has come forward to serve humanity amidst this corona issue. The volunteers are preparing vegetarian food for elderly, specially abled people, homeless and other needy people. A strict follow up of hygiene and social distancing is being carried out by them while preparation and packaging of food.

Mayor office of New York had previously approached them for help. The proud Sikh community as always is ready to stand up for humanity during such a critical situation. America is also facing corona crisis and the number of infected people is reaching a level next.

The federal agencies have come up in front to appreciate Sikh volunteers for the 'sewa' they are doing. The volunteers wearing masks and gloves are all set to work day and night for the fellow Americans. They are walking as per the guiding path introduced to them by their Gurus. Sikhism has always taught to serve people in adverse situations without discrimination. That is why this type of 'Langar Sewa' is being carried by Sikh volunteers in New York.
