Pakistani actress Naushin Shah candidly expressed her exasperation with Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut during an episode of Momin Saqib's talk show, 'Had Kar Di.' When asked about her choice of Bollywood actor to meet, Naushin made it clear that she was keen to meet Kangana Ranaut and didn't shy away from mentioning her desire to give her a piece of her mind. She remarked, "The way she makes baseless remarks about my country, and the manner in which she criticizes the Pakistani army, I must commend her audacity. While she may lack knowledge, she certainly doesn't hold back when talking about a nation, even if it's not her own. It would be wise for her to concentrate on her own country and her acting career... instead of getting embroiled in controversies, ex-boyfriends, and other matters."
Naushin Challenges Kangana's Understanding
Naushin went on to challenge Kangana's understanding, asking, "How can you be so certain about the issues facing people in Pakistan? How can you claim knowledge about the Pakistani army and our intelligence agencies? Even we, the residents of our country, are often kept in the dark; these agencies belong to our nation, and they don't openly disclose such matters. They remain classified, don't they?"
Pakistani Actress Offers Praise for Kangana
Furthermore, she extended compliments to Kangana, describing her as a remarkable actress and a genuinely beautiful woman. However, she expressed regret, stating, "I must admit that when it comes to respecting other individuals and nations, her approach is quite deficient... she leans towards extremism."
Kangana Ranaut's Earlier Commentary on India vs. Bharat
In the meantime, on Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut took to her Twitter to share a detailed note wherein she elaborated on why she believes "India" holds greater significance than "Bharat." She wrote, "What is there to cherish in this name? Initially, they struggled with pronouncing 'Sindhu,' leading to its distortion as 'Indus.' Subsequently, it alternated between 'Hindostan' and 'Indostan,' with a blend of variations, culminating in 'India.'" Regarding Kangana's professional endeavors, her film "Chandramukhi 2" is on the verge of release, while "Emergency" is also scheduled to hit the screens later this year."
