'The Vaccine War' trailer: Nana Patekar leads Vivek Agnihotri's Bio-science film
The Vaccine War trailer: Vivek Agnihotri is getting ready for the premiere of The Vaccine War, his second film, more than a year after the controversy-filled release of his The Kashmir Files.
The Vaccine War's trailer, which was released on Tuesday and is being hailed as India's first bio-science film endeavor, provides a glimpse into the universe of the movie and demonstrates the commitment of the researchers who were instrumental in creating the indigenous BBV152 vaccine, also known as Covaxin. In collaboration with the National Institute of Virology of the Indian Council of Medical Research, Bharat Biotech produced the vaccine.
The COVID-19 pandemic in India is depicted in the trailer along with the battle of Indian scientists. As the head of the team of scientists, Nana Patekar leads them on their amazing quest to develop the first Covid-19 vaccine in India. These scientists deal with everything, including budgetary restrictions and inaccurate media narratives. In the teaser, it was also mentioned how many women scientists were working on the vaccine.
The first image of the trailer shows a whiteboard with the words "Only science can win this war" written on it, emphasizing the movie's main theme.
“Is this virus a natural mutation? Or was it made in a lab by a reverse engineering process,” wonders a few characters in the film.
The vaccine is being developed by Indian scientists despite the widespread fear of the virus and the many difficulties they are facing, as the trailer depicts.
Fans are undoubtedly interested in the movie after seeing The Vaccine War's trailer. When someone responded to it on social media, they said, "Lovely, Encouraging.. Naam Nana Nana... Nevertheless, Han Han.. Humne Vaccine Banadiya. Another remark said, "Looks extremely intriguing Sir! Bio-science will no doubt become a part of mainstream popular culture as a result of science, emotions, and patriotism.
Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Raima Sen, Pallavi Joshi, and Sapthami Gowda all play significant roles in The Vaccine War, which was written by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and is produced by his wife, the actor Pallavi Joshi. The film will be made available in 10 different languages when it debuts on September 28.
