The makers of the film Chamkila released the song 'Ishq Mitaye' featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra in leading roles. Now, the excitement peaks as the team unveils a behind-the-scenes peek into the creation process of this remarkable song, igniting further anticipation among enthusiasts.

Scheduled to grace the OTT Platform on Baisakhi, "Amar Singh Chamkila" is helmed by renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, promising to unravel the untold narrative of Punjab's original rockstar, Amar Singh Chamkila, often likened to the Elvis Presley of Punjab.

The video offers a glimpse into the meticulous dedication of  Imtiaz and the actors towards realizing this captivating narrative. It delves into the relentless toil and fervor infused into the film's production, captivating the audience with its authenticity and depth.

Enthusiasts eagerly await the film's premiere, especially intrigued by the revelation that acclaimed singers will lend their voices to its melodies. Moreover, the lead actors have immersed themselves in the musical essence, contributing their vocals to tracks originally performed by Chamkila and Amarjot in Punjabi.

Imtiaz Ali acknowledged the necessity of casting actors who possessed singing prowess, emphasizing the importance of live performances. He affirmed, "It's not like  Diljit didn't train a lot like Parineeti did, but he does live singing and is accustomed to it." The director highlighted the significance of the actors' live renditions, underlining their unparalleled authenticity and emotional resonance.

In an unprecedented move, Imtiaz Ali opted for live singing during the shots, deviating from conventional playback practices. He confessed, "I thought that in case the live singing doesn't work out, we can always use the recorded version and use it as playback like we usually do."
