In a candid conversation about his journey so far, Junaid expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming positive response to his performance. "I cannot explain in words what I’m feeling right now," he shared earnestly. "Maharaj has been a long and wild journey for me, but all’s well that ends well I guess."
Directed by Sidharth P Malhotra and produced by YRF Entertainment, Maharaj is set against the backdrop of the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case, a pivotal legal battle in India's pre-independence era. The film portrays the courageous stand of Karsandas Mulji, a renowned social reformer, against prevailing injustices. Junaid's portrayal of this historical figure has resonated deeply with audiences, marking him as a standout performer alongside seasoned actors like Jaideep Ahlawat and Shalini Pandey.
