'MOTHERHOOD - THE JOURNEY OF MATA SAHIB KAUR' WILL SHOWCASE THE COURAGEOUS LIFE OF A SIKH WARRIOR

‘Mata Sahib Kaur’ is one such name who, in spite of her incredible contribution in Sikh history has remained dormant for a long time. Bestowed the title of ‘Mother of Khalsa’ by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a Punjabi animation film titled ‘Motherhood – the Journey of Mata Sahib Kaur’ is being made which will depict the life of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and her rich contributions to Sikhism.

‘Motherhood – the Journey of Mata Sahib Kaur’ is expected to be a high quality animation film as both international and national animation teams will be working on this groundbreaking project. Reportedly, the film will revolve around Mata Sahib kaur Ji’s life after guru Gobind Singh Ji gave Mata Sahib Kaur 5 weapons as his reminder and his Insignia (with which she issued 9 Hukkamnaama's or Letters of Command for the Khalsa).

The project is said to be inspired from historical granths by by Kavi Santokh Singh, Dr Bhai Vir Singh and Kahan Singh Nabha along with complementary insights from other saints.
