A.R Rahman And Hansal Mehta Upset With The Remake Of His Song ‘Masakali’

Film 'Delhi 6' had won hearts of audience majorly because of the evergreen song 'Masakali' which was shot on Sonam Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and white pigeons. This song which was sung by Mohit Chauhan became a huge hit. This song has been released all over again. Don't get surprised! Yes, this song has been released all over again but with a remake version.

The remake version of iconic song 'Masakali' stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria. This version didn't go well with A.R Rahman, who is the original composer of the song. He especially took over to Twitter to express his feelings over the same. He seems annoyed and upset with the decision of remaking his song.

Not only A.R Rahman, but famous film director Hansal Mehta also gave a thumbs down to remake of 'Masakali' which has been released with the name of 'Masakali 2.0'. He slammed the song by saying this song is an insult to the original creator.

The audience is also not giving a good response to the song. Many comments beneath the YouTube video of this song are criticising Tanishq Bagchi for re-creating this song. Public seems upset with the trend of remakes.
