Anil Kapoor Dedicates Mr India’s 32nd Anniversary To Late Veeru Devgan, Shares Heartfelt Note

Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer ‘Mr. India’ released 32 years ago. The 1987 hit film refuses to age. Lead actor, Anil Kapoor dedicated the 32nd anniversary of the movie to late action choreographer, Veeru Devgan.

Mr. India fame actor took down to his official social media handles to share a heartfelt note for Ajay Devgn’s father. Anil wrote: “#MrIndia was made iconic by its children friendly action scenes & Veeru’s Midas touch. I want to dedicate its 32nd anniversary to the man who made these unforgettable moments possible. #VeeruDevgan was an amazing man & I'm lucky to have worked with him. He is sorely missed...”

Meanwhile, Veeru Devgan passed away on May 27 at the age of 85, due to age related issues. Bollywood celebrities from Amitabh Bachchan to Salim Khan paid their tribute to the late action choreographer.

Veeru Devgan was behind the fight and action scenes for over 80 Hindi films including ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ (1991), ‘Mr India’ (1987), and ‘Himmatwala’ (1983) among various others.

Besides, Veeru Devgan introduced his son Ajay Devgn in Bollywood with ‘Phool Aur Kante’.
