Anshdeep Singh: First Sikh Inducted In Donald Trump's Security. Here’s All You Need To Know

The Ludhiana-born Anshdeep Singh Bhatia has created history by becoming the first Sikh to have been inducted into the US President Donald Trump's security fleet, according to media reports.

Anshdeep was inducted into the force last week after he completed the rigorous training.

Earlier, Anshdeep was asked to change his looks for getting included into the Trump’s security team, which he refused and fought a legal battle. The court, however, ruled in Anshdeep’s favour and he was inducted into the security fleet.

According to Hindustan Times, Anshdeep’s family had moved to the United States in 2000. They had earlier moved from Ludhiana from Kanpur during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
