‘Asees’ All Set For Its World Television Premiere Only On PTC Punjabi
It will be a happy weekend for die-hard Punjabi cinema fans as Rana Ranbir’s ‘Asees’ is all set to have its World TV Premiere on 23rd September (Sunday) at 12:30 pm and 9:30 pm only on PTC Punjabi.
‘Asees’ is a Punjabi movie which was released on 22nd June,2018. Besides Rana Ranbir, the movie also features Rupinder Rupi, Kuljinder Sidhu and Sardar Sohi in lead roles. Other popular actors who worked in this movie include Neha Pawar.
The movie showcased different emotional and aesthetic aspects of an ordinary person in today’s time. It is a complete package of social drama with which every person can relate with.
As per the reports, the film was an average grosser at the box-office, but it was able to win viewers' hearts with its well-knitted screenplay and some amazing performances by the cast of the film. This film came as a blessing in disguise for those cinema lovers who were tired of seeing the same kind of period drama and comedy being offered by the Punjabi industry since long.
‘Asees’ is a story of an endearing mother-son duo. Through their journey, the film painted a strong bonding between a mother and her child.
‘Asees’ is a story of a mother having 5 children, and Asees (Rana Ranbir) is the one who is closest to her because of the affection he has for his mother. The other 4 children include 3 sons and a daughter, who are all well settled and their only connection with their mother is because of her property. The village Pachayat settles the property dispute amongst the 5 children and gives the mother-son duo a petty chunk of land at a condition that she gets it signed in the name of Asees.
Post interval, another aspect of the story will be introduced which will keep viewers glued to their seats .
Rana Ranbir and Rupinder Ruppi deserve a standing ovation for their performances in this film. Debutant Pradeep Sran acted really well in this film, while Neha Pawar and Kuljinder Sidhu also performed exceptionally well.
The casting director of the film too deserve an applause for casting right actors in the film.
