Sufi Punjabi singer, Satinder Sartaaj has made the nation proud with his contribution to excellence in the field of music. He has been honoured for the same by the government of Australia and New Zealand. The singer was born in Hoshiarpur district of Punjab on August 31.
With an interest in music, he started performing from 3rd grade. Satinder obtained an honors degree in Music from Hoshiarpur and concentrated on his sufiana musical career. He completed his M. Phil in Sufi music singing and later a PhD in Sufi singing from Chandigarh.
Satinder is popular for songs soulful sufi songs like ‘Udariaan’, ‘Masoomiat’, ‘Main Te Meri Jaan’ among others but which one among these is your favourite?
