Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga Twitter Review: ‘Sweet, Sensitive & New-age Story’

Anil Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao and Sonam Kapoor starrer film ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ has been released on silver screens on February 1. Directed by debutant Shelly Chopra Dhar, 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' is about same-sex relationship.

In the film, Sonam Kapoor is essaying an LGBTQ character. Besides, this is for the first time that she has collaborated with her dad Anil Kapoor in a Bollywood film.

The film has been receiving positive reviews from the movie lovers who have shared their reviews on Twitter. Many of them termed the film as ‘sweet and sensitive’ with brilliant performances by Anil and Sonam Kapoor.

Same-sex relationships continue to be a taboo in India, despite the Supreme Court scrapping Section 377 that criminalised "unnatural intercourse". Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film also stars Juhi Chawla in an important role.
