Eternal Taal To Cheer For India By Playing Drums During Cricket World Cup

While the world is going gaga over the 12th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup, the team of Eternal Taal is ready to cheer for team India. It is United Kingdom’s first and only female dhol team which provides traditional performances with a modern twist.

The team of Eternal Taal took down to their official Twitter account to announce the official news of being a part of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Eternal Taal will support the Indian team and drum the stadium down at every India match.

Earlier, the group took down to Twitter to share the news of being selected to perform during the cricket matches. However, they didn’t disclose the team they will be cheering for in the tournament.

Formed in 1999, Eternal Taal is a drumming group that is trying to break free of stereotypes with their unique, interactive and traditional performances with a modern twist. The group is formed by Parv Kaur.

She got recognition for her effort after she was presented with the award for ‘Contribution of bhangra music in the UK’ by the House of Commons in the year 2010.
