Gippy Grewal

Singer-actor Gippy Grewal turned soldier in a film based on the life of Subedar Joginder Singh, an Indian Army soldier who fought the 1962 Sino-Indian War.

Jimmy Sheirgill

The superstar of Punjabi film industry Jimmy turned an Army officer in the film Yahaan. The film showcased the love story a Kashmiri girl and an Indian Army officer.  Jimmy Shergill received the applause for his performance as a soldier struggling between desire and duty.

Gurdas Maan
