Gippy Grewal’s Village ‘Koom Kalan’ In Ludhiana Fighting Against Corona

Gippy Grewal hails from village Koom Kalan in the district of Ludhiana. Gippy being associated from the place has proudly shared a video of his village where people are fighting against corona in the best way possible.

The entire village is being sanitised and is being sprayed to stop the ill effects of coronavirus. Young volunteers from his village are working tirelessly to provide basic necessities of life to the needy people.

ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੂਮ ਕਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫਾਈ , ਬਾ-ਕਾਇਦਾ ਸਪਰੇ ਵਗੈਰਾ ਗਲ਼ੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਚ ਛਿੜਕੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ । ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਈ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਏਸ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਯੋਗ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਕਦਮ ਤੇ ਬੜੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ । ਸੋ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਪੰਚਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੋਹਤਬਰ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਕਿ ਏਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਆ । ਸੋ ਏਸ ਔਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਚ ਧਰਮ ਤੇ ਜਾਤਾਂ ਪਾਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਅਪਣਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖੜੀਏ ।। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰੇ ? ਗਿੱਪੀ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ #koomkalan

Gippy Grewal previously had urged people to come forward to donate and work for their areas to fight a war against coronavirus. Being a member of a respectable artists’ association, he had requested other artists also to work and donate for their areas.

A video from the side of Sarpanch of his village has been posted by Gippy where the Sarpanch is could be heard thanking Gippy for his efforts. With the voice over from Sarpanch and shots of activities being carried out in village, Sarpanch is seen urging people to abide by the rules of administration.
