Gippy Grewal is celebrating his 36^th birthday today. He needs no introduction. He is a well-known face not only in Pollywood but in Bollywood as well. Gippy is a rage among youngsters and he enjoys immense fan following across the globe.

A singer, actor, director, producer and writer, Gippy is a complete all-rounder and this makes him the ultimate superstar of Pollywood industry.

Brilliant Acting Skills: Gippy made his acting debut in 2010 with Mel Karade Rabba. He played the supporting role in the film which stars Jimmy Shergill and Neeru Bajwa in the lead. The film shattered many records at the box-office and was termed as a super-hit. Despite the established star cast, Giipy managed to impress the audience with his small appearance on the screen.

Since then he featured in various Punjabi films with majority of them tagged as hits. He won several awards for his performances. In 2011, he got recognition for his brilliant acting skills when we was awarded with ‘Best Actor’ during PTC Punjabi Film Awards. He got the award for his film ‘Jihne Mera Dil Luteya’.

Next year in 2012, Gippy moved a step ahead and won the ‘Best Popular Star Of The Year’ for appearing in hit films like ‘Carry On Jatta’, ‘Mirza: The Untold Story’.

In 2013 and 2014, Gippy won the Best Actor awards for his appearance in ‘Singh vs Kaur’ and ‘Jatt James Bond’.

Amazing Direction: After establishing himself as a ‘brilliant actor’, Gippy entered into direction in 2016 with ‘Ardaas’. The film received immense positive reviews from the movie lovers across the globe and film’s director Gippy went on to win Best Debut Director during the PTC Punjabi Film Awards and Filmfare Awards Punjabi in 2016.

Currently, he is directing the sequel of ‘Ardaas’.

Great Singer: Besides acting, direction, Gippy is a well-known singer. Gippy made his debut with the album ‘Chakkh Lai’ which made him much popular in Punjabi music industry.
