Popular Punjabi singer, actor, and lyricist Rosshan Prince is known for crooning for songs like ‘Look Lak’, ‘Bas Tu’, ‘Galti’ among others. The singer is celebrating his birthday today on September 12, as he turns a year older.

Besides singing, Rosshan has worked in films like ‘Ishq Brandy’, ‘Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad’, ‘Naughty Jatts’ among many others. Here are some unknown facts about the birthday boy!

Rosshan was born as Rajiv Kaplish in Banga, Punjab on September 12, 1981. He is the grandson of the noted musician, Pt Roshan Lal.

Rosshan Prince took training in music from Tejwant Kittu’s music institute and he learned singing skills from his professor Shamshad Ali.

He wanted to be an artist since his childhood. His family also wanted him to be a musician. They wanted to carry forward Pt. Roshan Lal’s musical background.

His stage name is an outcome of his grandfather’s first name ‘Roshan’ and his nickname ‘Prince’.

If not a singer, he would have become a music teacher.
