Kesari Becomes The Fastest Rs 100 Crore Grosser Of 2019 So Far

Akshay Kumar starrer 'Kesari' has crossed 100 Crore mark in the first week of its release. Kesari has finally entered the 100 Crore club, and it is the faster 100 Crore grosser of 2019 so far. The movie has created a buzz ever since its posters were released, and now the movie has collected a whopping amount of  Rs. 100.01 Crore on its day 7.

It is the fastest Rs 100 Crore grosser of 2019 so far, after defeating Ranveer Singh's 'Gully Boy' and Ajay Devgn's 'Total Dhamaal'. Taran Adarsh took down to his Twitter to provide the box office update on 'Kesari'. He tweeted:

The movie portrays the story of 21 Sikh fighters who fought against 10,000 Afghan invaders in the heroic battle of 1987 of Saragarhi. Akshay Kumar gives a jaw-dropping performance with his Punjabi accent and light-weighted punches in the movie.

The movie also features Parineeti Chopra opposite Akshay Kumar.
