Kesari Review: ‘Akshay Kumar’s Jaw-Dropping Tribute To Braveheart Sikhs’

Akshay Kumar’s much awaited film of the year, ‘Kesari’ hit the big screens on the day of Holi. Despite being a festival day, Akshay's fans and movie lovers turned up in large numbers across the nation to watch the epic war drama, which also features Parineeti Chopra in the lead.

Based on the battle of Saragarhi that took place in 1897 in which 21 Sikh soldiers, under the leadership of Havildar Ishar Singh, fought for several hours against 10,000 Afghan tribesmen. Kesari tells us, when you got to fight you've got to give it your best shot even when you know the outcome.

Some of the movie lovers praised Anurag Singh for brilliant direction and Akshay Kumar, who portrayed Havildar Ishar Singh, for his jaw-dropping stunts in the film.

Here is what the movie lovers tweeted after watching Kesari on day 1 of its release.

Produced by Dharma Productions, Kesari set to roar big at the box-office with many predicting that it will be the fastest to touch Rs 100 crore mark at the box-office.
