Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2: KJo To Cast Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt & Janhvi Kapoor?

The 1998 film "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" was a blockbuster hit. It had featured superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. After film’s success, everyone wants to see the film’s sequel.

The director of the film Karan Johar, however, has his own plans in mind.

Karan Johar, who made his directorial debut with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, has recently said that if he ever makes "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2", he would cast actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor in it.

While hosting ISHQ 104.8's show "Calling Karan Season 2", one of the listeners asked KJo about the remake of "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and the actors he would choose for the movie.

Karan replied saying: "If I made 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2', I would cast Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor in it."

In the film, Rani Mukerji played a supporting role, while Salman Khan also had an extended-cameo appearance.

The film won various awards including National Award for Best Film. Besides, the film won  won 8 Filmfare Awards.

According to the reports, the film fetched about Rs 80.12 crore in India and Rs 26.61 crore in other countries.

It was the highest-grossing film of 1998 in India.
