'Life came to a full circle as I got the chance to “play” for India' writes Harrdy Sandhu while sharing picture from 83

Harrdy Sandhu is on cloud nine right now because he's about to fulfill his childhood goal of playing cricket in his first Bollywood film, 83'. The film has been generating a lot of hype online as it approaches its December 24th release date.

The film's producers are doing everything they can to build anticipation for the picture. Now, Harrdy Sandhu has taken to Instagram to praise former cricketer Madan Lal for training the singer-turned-actor and to express his gratitude for being a part of the film.

Harrdy stated in his brief post that it was his desire to represent his country because of his passion for cricket, but that due to an injury, he had to leave cricket and pursue his singing career instead. But fate was on his side, and by coincidence, the singer was cast in the film 83, which gave him the opportunity to act.

For the uninitiated, Harrdy Sandhu has represented India at the U-19 level, but due to an injury, the singer was set to quit cricket.

In terms of the film, 83' Harrdy Sandhu will play former cricketer Madan Lal. Apart from Harrdy Sandhu, Punjabi celebrities Ammy Virk and Wamiqa Gabbi will play significant roles in the film. Balwinder Singh Sandhu will be played by Ammy Virk, and Madan Lal's wife Anu Lal will be played by Wamiqa Gabbi alongside Harrdy Sandhu.

Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Pankaj Tripathi also appear in the film. Saqeeb Salim, Pankaj Tripathi, Jatin Sarna, Sahil Khattar, Jiiva, and a slew of other actors have appeared on the show.
