Miracle! Punjab Labourer Becomes Crorepati With Borrowed Lottery Ticket

If we say that we know a person who became a millionaire overnight with the borrowed money, what would you say? We are out of our mind, right!

Well! Today, we are not out of our mind and not even joking. There really is a person "Manoj Kumar" who won 1.5 crore rupees with a lottery ticket purchased from borrowed money. He might have never dreamt of winning such a big amount but now he is able to tide over the financial problems his family was facing.

We often hear stories about people winning lottery tickets and then get disgusted because we think that some people have all the luck. But, you know what, it might not be luck after all but their destiny.

One such story is of “Manoj Kumar”, who is a Punjab labourer and a resident of Mandvi village in Sangrur district. He could not believe his luck when he found that his lottery number matched the winning number announced by the Punjab State lotteries on 29th August for Punjab State Rakhi Bumper 2018.

Manoj had borrowed money to buy a lottery ticket worth Rs 200 and hit a jackpot of Rs 15 million. Today, he is a Rs 15 million richer than he was before. He won the lottery. Now, do you think he would be in the same position if he would have never tried out his luck.

The draw of bumper prize was announced in Ludhiana and the first two prizes worth Rs 1.5 crore each, have gone to two ticket holders. Manoj met the Director Lotteries of Punjab, TPS Phoolka, to submit his claim for the prize money. He has been assured that the payment will be made at the earliest.

“I had borrowed money to purchase the ticket. I had never imagined winning such a big amount in the wildest of dreams,” Manoj said.
