Peen Da Chaska: Harish Verma’s Latest Song Is A Peppy Number With Hidden Message

There have been a number of Punjabi songs based on alcohol and drinking, but certainly in an entertaining way. However, Harish Verma’s latest song ‘Peen Da Chaska’ is not just all about entertainment, it also sends out a very serious message.

In the song, the wife tells her husband that she too wants to try drinking, as she wants to know what is so good in the bottle that he simply can’t get rid of it. She puts up a hard fight, but nothing seems to work, until one day, when their kids act like they are pouring alcohol in their plastic glasses.

Everyone knows that kids learn from their parents’ actions; and thus, it is important for them to keep a tab on what they do. Thus, though a wife couldn’t compel her husband to quit drinking, kids were able to bring their father on the right track.

Coming to the credits, sung by Harish Verma, the song has been penned by Maninder Kailey. Further, Desi Routz gave music to it.
