Punjabi Artists Who Were Able To Make It To Bollywood In 2018

From Diljit Dosanjh to Jassie Gill, the year 2018 is really booked for the Punjabi celebrities. On one hand, we have artists who have been making their way to the Bollywood movies while others are giving their vocals to the much-awaited movies of the Indian Film Industry. Therefore, we can say that 2018 is the year of Punjabi's in Bollywood. Here are a few Punjabi's that were able to make their way to Bollywood this year:

Binnu Dhillon:

Binnu Dhillon was seen last in his recently released ‘Vadhayiyaan Ji Vadhayiyaan’, and we all appreciate his comic timings in the movie. Now, the actor is all set to take over Bollywood with his upcoming movie ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phirr Se’ in which he is featured along Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol. We already have the trailer of his upcoming movie in which Binnu is already entertaining everyone with his perfect comic timings.

Ammy Virk:

On one side where the reports of Ammy Virk being a part of a new Bollywood project was making rounds, the actor made his debut in Bollywood with his new song. Titled ‘Daryaa’ the Bollywood debut song of the Punjabi singer is featured in Taapsee Pannu’s next project ‘Manmarziyaan’.

Diljit Dosanjh: 

'Soorma' is the second Bollywood movie of the Punjabi actor turned singer 'Diljit Dosanjh'. Bollywood movie is based on the real-life story of an Indian hockey player ‘Sandeep Singh’. The player was one of the captain of Indian hockey team but was on wheel chair for 2 years after he was shot in 2006.

Isha Rikhi:

Punjabi actress, Isha Rikhi just made her Bollywood debut in upcoming movie ‘Nawabzaade’. We last saw her in Gippy Grewal’s ‘Ardas’. In Nawabzaade ‘Isha Rikhi’ has played the role of a girl living next door, whose beauty made three friends fall for her.

Jassie Gill:

Jassie Gill is making his Bollywood debut with the upcoming movie ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jaegi’, which will be a dose of laughter for the audience. The Punjabi actor is playing the role of a turbanator immigration officer, and is casted in the leading role opposite Sonakshi Sinha. Besides Jassie and Sonakshi, the stellar cast of the movie includes Jimmy Shergill, Piyush Ali Fazal and Diana Panty. It is slated to release on 24^th August.

Harrdy Sandhu:

Harrdy Sandhu has also made his Bollywood debut this year, with his song ‘Little Little’. He has given his vocals to this song from the hysterical movie ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phirr Se’. The track is a party starter that opens with Harrdy hitting the dance floors, followed by other lead cast shaking their legs on the dance floor.

Sunanda Sharma: 

'Jaani Tera Naa' singer has made her Bollywood debut with the song 'Tere Naal Nachna'  from the upcoming movie 'Nawabzaade'. The song is a party number written by Badshah, featuring him alongside Athiya Shetty in the video.
