Raj Kapoor's Wife Krishna Raj Kapoor Dies: Celebs Pay Their Last Respects. Funeral At 5.30 PM

Krishna Kapoor, the widow of the legendary Bollywood actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor, passed away at 4 am on October 1 due to cardiac arrest in Mumbai. She was 87.

Krishna, who married Raj Kapoor in May 1946, is survived by her sons Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, and daughters Ritu Nanda and Rima Kapoor-Jain.

"Regret to announce I lost my mother early this morning. She died peacefully," Randhir said in a statement.

Many Bollywood celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Prem Chopra, Sanjay Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan among others reached Krishna’s residence and paid their last respect.

According to the reports, her funeral will take place today at around 5: 30 PM in Chembur.
