Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Is Working On A Youth-Centric Movie

Best known for directing 'Rang De Basanti' and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' among other movies, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra talks about his upcoming movies in conversation with Nikhil Verma, an anchor of 'Punjabis This Week'.

Recently, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra was on the show, and he revealed about his upcoming project. He said, "5-6 Stories are there, on which I am working, writing, along with my friends. My next movie is titled 'Toofan' featuring Farhan Akhtar in the lead. With Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music and Javed Akhtar's lyrics, the story is beautifully penned. Shooting will commence in August."

He added, "For next year, I am working on a script about today's youth. Today's youth is wonderful and this millennial youth is now generation Z. India's youth knows everything, since it is not just confined to India now, they are a part of world youth now because of the connectivity in their hand."

'Punjabis This Week' is a PTC Punjabi show which brings the latest buzz of the Punjabi industry to the audience. The show also glorifies Punjabis around the globe.
