Shehnaaz Gill will be back to the shoot of her upcoming film 'Honsla Rakh'

The death of actor Sidharth Shukla on September 2 stunned the industry. Those close to him are still reeling from the devastating loss of his premature death. It was previously claimed that Sidharth's close friend, actress Shehnaaz Gill, was recuperating one day at a time. It has now been learned that she may be able to return to work by October 7. Honsla Rakh, her Punjabi film starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa, will include her in a promotional song.

The song was originally scheduled to be shot in mid-September but was pushed back until the end of the month due to Shehnaaz's inability to resume work. Now, depending on her visa restrictions, the producers have agreed to shoot with her on October 7 in either the United Kingdom or India.

“I was continuously in touch with Shehnaaz's team, and they routinely informed us on her,” Diljit Thind, co-producer of Honsla Rakh, told ETimes. She is a consummate professional, and I am grateful that she has agreed to work with us on the promotional song. Depending on her visa, we'll shoot in the United Kingdom or India.”

'Honsla Rakh's' trailer was released lately as well, however, Shehnaaz did not promote it or share it on social media. During the pandemic, the film was shot in Canada.
