Sikh Community Steps Up To Feed Locals Impacted By Coronavirus Pandemic In Selma, California
Everyone knows it that whenever a crisis arises, the Sikhs have always been upfront to help those in need. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, people from different parts of the world have come forward to provide food to the one in need.
The Sikh community in Selma has also stepped up to help feed local residents impacted by the pandemic. A drive – through food distribution was held on Sunday morning, on April 19 to encourage everyone in the area to stop by and have some food.
More than 2500 boxes were given and each box had enough food to feed a family of five.
The organizers were able to provide about 60000 pounds of food, which can feed around 10000 people for a week.
Sikhs in Selma, California are doing a charity drive-through for people affected by the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, all the food was donated by local businesses, organizations, and individuals.
