The 12th episode of PTC Punjabi’s TV show ‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’ will be aired on October 20, Saturday. The upcoming episode will showcase the journey of two inspiring women – Geeta Tandon and Kiranjeet.

‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’, which went on air on September 9, has been getting positive reviews from the audience for showcasing real life stories of women who battled odds to change the world around them.

Here is the synopsis:

Geeta Tandon: The story of Geeta Tandon, a stuntwomen in Bollywood, inspires us to do wonders. Born in Mumbai in a Punjabi family, Geeta was raised in very harsh environment. She lost her parents at very early age. She got married when she was just 15 and gave birth to 2 children. At 18, she ran away from a violent husband with two children and nowhere to go. She then said yes including to performing stunts in Bollywood.

Her first offer to do a stunt came for mere thousand rupees. Geeta is now one of Bollywood's most skilled and daring stunt performers.

Kiranjeet: She is a first Punjabi blind singer. She is best known for her song ‘Sardarni’.
