Calgary Sikhs Offer Drive – Through Meals To Calgarians During Pandemic

During this time of pandemic all we need is some support and help from the people who can come forward. The global pandemic has taken over and people have no means of bread and butter, and no mean of survival at this time.

Amid the pandemic, a lot of communities have stepped up to feed others and among them, one is the Sikh community. The Sikh community in Calgary is offering drive thru meals to the Calgarians during pandemic.

Volunteers have been feeding truck drivers, dropping off food to people in isolation, and providing hot meals to people in need at the Sikh temple.

For all the hardwork that these volunteers are doing, the MLA for Calgary-Falconridge, Mr. Davinder Toor came up to recognise and appreciate the noble work of Sikh Youth Edmonton and its Volunteers for distributing foodkits to all needy people in this tough time of Covid-19.

We sincerely hope that this time shall pass soon and we all come out of this pandemic as stronger than ever.
