Recently the Netflix drama series 'Scoop' has made it's way through the television extravaganza by lifting top honors at the Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards 2023 in Busan, South Korea. Helmed by Hansal Mehta, 'Scoop' has been awarded the title of Best Asian TV Series along-with Karishma Tanna lifting off the auspicious trophy for Best Actress in a TV series. About 'Scoop'
Directed by Hansal Mehta, 'Scoop' is based on Jigna Vora's book, 'Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison'. The show embodies around some ambitious ciminal journalists, specially Jagruti Pathak, role played by Karishma Tanna. The series then follows her traumatic life after she is pushed in prison under false accusation of murdering one of her fellow journalist, Jaideb. Her life at the jail and aftermath situation is what has kept in the storyline. Released in 2nd June, 2023, the drama thriller is rated 7.6/10 on IMDb.
