Mukesh Khanna Confirms: Shaktimaan Movie Set to Soar with a Massive Budget of Rs 200-300 Crore

Shaktimaan movie: Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna, who played the iconic character Shaktimaan on television, recently shared some details about the upcoming film based on his superhero avatar. The film was announced by Sony Pictures, but there hasn't been any official update on its progress. While there have been reports of Ranveer Singh playing the lead role and Basil Joseph directing it, nothing has been confirmed yet.

In a recent interview on his YouTube channel, Mukesh Khanna mentioned that the Shaktimaan film is being developed on a grand scale with international standards. He assured fans that the movie is definitely happening and that everything related to it is being carefully considered. The contract for the film has been signed, and it will be a high-budget project costing around Rs 200-300 crore. Sony Pictures, known for producing the Spider-Man movies, will be behind this film.

However, there have been delays, initially due to the pandemic and other factors. Despite this, Mukesh Khanna expressed confidence in the film's eventual release. He couldn't disclose all the details but mentioned that it's a big-scale production and many things are happening behind the scenes.

Responding to fan queries about his involvement in the film and the actor playing Shaktimaan, Mukesh Khanna revealed that he will be a part of the movie, emphasizing that Shaktimaan cannot exist without him. However, he mentioned that he won't be appearing in the Shaktimaan costume, as the filmmakers want to avoid any comparisons. He assured fans that a final announcement will be made soon, revealing the cast and director. He emphasized that the film deserves to be made on an international level.
