Chandrayaan 2: From Anupam Kher To Sunny Deol Celebs React To India’s Space Mission
On July 22, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched Chandrayaan 2 from Andhra Pradhesh. After days of anticipation, and tense moments, a heart-breaking announcement came up from the ISRO. Seconds before, Chandrayaan 2 was supposed to touch down on the Moon's surface early on Saturday, communication with the Chandrayaan 2 lander was lost.
India had hoped to create history by becoming the first nation to reach closest to the lunar south pole but as the landing time of 1:55 am came and went, there were no signs that the mission had succeeded.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi consoled ISRO chief K Sivan post the meeting, when he broke down after the technical glitch.

Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities took down to Twitter to boost the morale of the ISRO, who worked hard on the mission.
