DEAD BODY FOUND HANGING AT NAHARGARH FORT AMIDST PROTESTS AGAINST 'PADMAVATI'

Amidst all the protests against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Padmavati, something extremely shocking has emerged. What seems like a sign of protest, a dead body has been discovered on the wall of Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur. Apart from that, there is a massage on a stone near the corpse that says, ‘We don't burn effigies. We kill’.

This is to be noted that uproar against Padmavati’s release has taken an ugly turn in the past few days with different political organizations coming out opposing Sanjay Leela Bhansali for distorting historical facts for a film. Karni Sena, who has been at the forefront of all the protests has denied any involvement in the incident.

The body was found hanging from one of the corners of the historic fort that overlooks the city. 'Padmavati Virodh (protest) was written next to the hanging body. As per TV reports, the deceased has been identified as Chetan. His Aadhar card was found in one of the pockets. A police team has been sent to his residence for further investigation.

Even though the release of the film has been postponed for now, the intensity of protests does not seem to come down. This is probably the first time that there has been such a huge outcry against the release of a film and this particular incident has certainly established a bad precedent.
