'Maa Da Laadla' star Tarsem Jassar interview: Punjabi actor Tarsem Jassar, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film 'Maa Da Laadla' opposite Neeru Bajwa, indirectly took a dig at Sargun Mehta and Gitaz starrer 'Moh' over the film's clash at the box office.
In an exclusive interview with PTC Punjabi, Tarsem Jassar was asked about the recent clashes of films in the Punjabi film industry. Tarsem said that "We don't want the film to clash with some other film."
"However, a lot of films are being released as there is so much content which is awaiting release. Thus, we need to support each other," he added.
In an indirect dig at Sargun Mehta and Gitaz starrer 'Moh' over the film's clash with 'Maa Da Laadla', Tarsem Jassar said that if someone tries to give them a fight then they never step back.
"We never announce dates on which another film is already slated to be released. You can check our history. We never announced a release date clashing with someone else. And when we have announced a film on a certain date, and someone tries to give a fight to us, then we never step back," he said.
In the meanwhile, Tarsem Jassar expressed confidence in his film and said that he hopes his film will work. On being asked about his character in the film, Tarsem Jassar said that he enjoyed his character in the film and that he was totally into the character.
