While most of the people who aim to try out a career in Bollywood decide move to Mumbai to look for opportunities, Neha Kakkar on the other hand, moved to Delhi from Rishikesh. Her family thought a place like Delhi, which is often visited by production teams to scout for talent, would be ideal to find opportunities. Moving to Delhi finally proved out a worth decision when she was selected as a contestant in a singing reality show, “Indian Idol”.

Neha Kakkar was selected for the first season of this show, which eventually helped her accomplish her dreams to become a singer. Today, not only she but her brother “Tony Kakkar” and elder sister “Sonu Kakkar” are also well-known singers of the industry.
