PTC Box Office: Watch Comic Film ‘Sarpanchi Laini Ae’ On October 18

After coming up with blockbuster short films like ‘Patwar’, ‘Nasoor’, ‘Darasal’ among others, PTC Box Office is back with its next film ‘Sarpanchi Laini Ae’.

The film will premiere exclusively on World’s Number 1 Punjabi Entertainment channel, PTC Punjabi on October 18, at 7:15 PM. ‘Sarpanchi Laini Ae’ is going to be a comedy film of a village Sarpanchi elections.

Going by the name, the film revolves around the story of a village Sarpanchi election. There are four candidates contesting for the elections; Shamsher Singh, Jahaaj Singh, Manjeet Kaur, and Prof. Gurnam Singh.

After a lot of competiveness, bribery, and luring the villagers, Shamsher becomes the sarpanch. However, there’s a fight between the supporters and in the heat of the moment Jahaaj Singh fires a shot in the air.

Now the elections are declared null because allegedly Shamsher bribed the election supervising officers and they helped him win unethically.

As the comedy unfolds, Jahaaj and Shamsher cannot contest anymore because there are criminal cases pending against them.
