Movie Review: Salman Khan's 'Race 3' Came Out To Be A Snoozefest

Salman Khan's 'Race 3' Came Out To Be A Snoozefest. The multi starrer movie could make to entertain audiences. The buzz in the market that was created before the release of the movie, couldn't match the expectations of public for the movie. The twists and turns in the movie have turned out in a bad manner without giving any entertainment. As the previous Race franchises have offered us, people were fully prepared for bad guys, fast cars, faster gals, dazzling foreign locations, shiny dance-floor moves and much more scandals and suspense. It’s a template, but we are always up for tales with all of the above if they are smart and pacy enough.

Race 3 has taken things too far from the previous two franchises. Remo D’Souza’s idea of a dysfunctional family is far more juvenile than Abbas-Mustan’s.

Some dialogues in the film play on a different level. the one is that has got trolled many times on internet is ‘My business is my business, none of your business,’ Daisy Shah comes up with another gem: ‘Isko dil nahi Dell khol ke dikhao (Don’t open your heart, switch on your Dell laptop)’.

Helmed by Remo D'Souza, the movie released today. Looking towards the box office numbers of Salman Khan’s Race 3, trade analyst Akshaye Rathi said, “On Day 1, Race 3 will make a minimum of Rs 30 Crore. So far the highest opening for Salman has been Sultan’s box office on Eid. The film made Rs 36.54 crore. That is why the minimum I expect is Rs 30 crore, it can be anything beyond that. Opening weekend for Race 3 will be big. A century at the box office by Race 3 doesn’t surprise me at all.”

All over the movie has been rated as 1.5 out of 5.
