Sirjanhaari: Youngest Woman Pilot Nivedita Bhasin Shares Her Inspiring Journey

The upcoming episode of PTC Punjabi’s TV show ‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’ will be aired on November 10, Saturday. The upcoming episode will showcase the journey of two inspiring women – Nivedita Bhasin and Shivjot Kaur.

‘Sirjanhaari – Samman Naari Da’, which went on air on September 9, has been getting positive reviews from the audience for showcasing real life stories of women who battled odds to change the world around them.

Here is the synopsis:

Nivedita Bhasin: Nivedita became the youngest woman pilot in world civil aviation history to command a commercial jet aircraft on 1 January 1990. She was just 26 at that time. Born in 1963, Nivedita and got her commercial pilot license when she was 18. She is now a captain on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and is based in New Delhi.

Shivjot Kaur: Well-renowned sculpture artist Shivjot Kaur would be another guest on the show. She has completed her post-graduation in sculpture from Govt. College of art, Chandigarh. She loves to work with waste materials such as, broken tiles, metal scrap, used tires, fibre, wood, bronze and white cement etc.

Some of her work collection have also been showcased in various places such as Rock Garden, Rajasthan University in Jaipur and Himachal State Museum among other places.
