VIRAT KOHLI SLAMS 50TH INTERNATIONAL CENTURY AND BREAKS ANOTHER SACHIN TENDULKAR'S RECORD

Virat Kohli is the skipper in the Indian Cricket Team. He has added one more feather in his cap as he slammed his 50th International Century on Monday. He is very famous for his aggressive demeanour and style. And keeping all this, Kohli got to his 18th Test hundred with a flat and powerful six over extra cover of paceman Suranga Lakmal and let out a big roar, going down on his knees and celebrated the moment.

He also broke the record of the legend of the cricket Sachin Tendulkar. The second in this list is Sachin Tendulkar (376 innings), who is followed by Ricky Ponting (420 innings) and Brian Lara (465 innings)

Batting on 98, Kohli charged down the wicket to slam Sri Lankan pacer Suranga Lakmal for a six over extra covers to reach this milestone. Kohli remained unbeaten on 104 and the team declared their innings at 352/8, setting a 231 run target for the Islanders.  Virat Kohli has now nine International Centuries in 2017, the most by him in nay year as well as the most number of ducks by him in any other year. His previous highest was eight centuries in 2012 and 2014. He is the also the first Indian Captain to score a duck and a century in the same test.
