The ace comedian Kapil Sharma, who was away from the television industry due to health issues, has surprised his fans after he announced his comeback to small screen with the all new "The Kapil Sharma Show". Kapil Sharma, who has spent few days in an ashram in Bengaluru for a detox programme, took to Twitter to make this announcement. He wrote: "Jalad wapas aa raha hoon ‘The Kapil Sharma Show' lekar aap ke liye sirf Sony TV par (I am returning with 'The Kapil Sharma Show' soon only on Sony Entertainment Television).”
Meanwhile, the comedian is currently busy in promoting his first Punjabi production film “Son of Manjeet Singh.” Kapil along with film’s lead actor Gurpreet Ghuggi recently visited Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings before for the release of the movie. Besides Ghuggi, the film also stars BN Sharma, Karamjit Anmol and Japji Khaira among others in important roles. The film will showcase the beautiful bond between a father, played by Gurpreet Ghuggi, and his son, played by Damanpreet Singh. In the film, Ghuggi wants his son to study and makes his future by taking up a conventional job. On the other hand, his son Damanpreet Singh, is not interested in studies. His aim is to become a cricketer. His role models are Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh. Directed by Vikram Grover, the film will release on October 12.
